     One of the factors contributing to The Love of Siam's success is the chemistry between Mew and Tong, played by Mario Maurer, now a rising star in Thailand. Pitch told reporters Mario and him are just good friends. He credited film editing for the good chemistry displayed on-screen. "We are not that sweet to each other," Pitch laughed. "Usually, when having dialogue in the movie, we were facing different cameras." On the movie set, Pitch's eyes usually met the film crews, who made sure he made the right expression.

Because Pitch had initially expressed his discomfort with fame, some reporters interpreted that he did not like the entertainment business.
Chukiat Sakweerakul who has become his mentor told Lips magazine that "Pitch is very direct with his facial expression, when he is tired or bored, his facial expression just shows."Chukiat has taught Pitch that "You study Journalism and Communications, it would be strange if you say you don't like fame!"

Now, Pitch has adjusted to his life as a public figure.

Music

     Pitch continues to sing on stage regularly with his band, August.
To create widespread awareness about the campaign, Dove has invited Pitch and Chukiat Sakweerakul to compose and sing a very special song entitled "Chao Wan Mai" (Better Morning). The song was composed especially for Dove and reflects Dove’s commitment to empowering women, for them to gain more self-confidence, feel good about their ownselves, and encourage them into making something good for themselves and society every morning. The CD, which is not for sale, will be given to women throughout Bangkok, together with Dove Therapy System with Repairing Serum samples

     August Band also appeared in a TV commercial for Mama instant noodles.
The public, of course, demands more appearances from Pitch. However, Pitch wants to concentrate on his studies: "If the job offered is in conflict with my studies, I won't take it." Chukiat who is also songwriter and producer for August told Lips Magazine that Pitch really feels part of August band and he would not take job offers that ask him to go solo. As Thai schools are in summer break between March - Early June 2008, August (whose members are all students) has held several mini-concerts in Bangkok. The Band also played an auditorium concert in Chiang Mai on April 5–6, 2008.

     Spending most of their weekends practicing music, the August Band continues to perform on stage regularly. The band plans to release their second album in October–November 2008. August's new album has been named "Radiodrome." The first single "Sunshine" has been aired on radio starting from August 27, 2008 (on FMMax 94.5) and September 1, 2008 (for all radio stations). The full album "Radiodrome" was released in December 2008. August held a lot of miniconcerts in Bangkok and also one in Chiang Mai. The Band successfully held their first big concert "August Let's Swing Aha! Aha!" on March 7, 2009 in Main Hall, JJMall.

     Pitch also sings a theme song for a stage play by his university faculty. The stage play is called "Dear Passenger" and start showing in September 2008. The theme song is called Peek (Wings).
The popularity of Pitch/August Band has spread to countries like China, Indonesia, The Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam and USA. Witwisit Hiranyawongkul has been performing with the August Band at numerous countries across Asia.
In November 2010, August Band released their brand new single, Summer.

     Witwisit Hiranyawongkul, popularly nicknamed Pitch or Pchy, was born and raised in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
   
     He attended a Catholic school Montfort College at an early age and has spent 12 years there. A talented singer, Pitch was the lead singer in his high school band. Music has always been a big part of his life. Pitch enjoys hip hop, R&B, gospel and soul music. He plays the piano and composes music in his free time.
   
     Besides music, Witwisit is also a fan of the Japanese manga series Nodame Cantabile and Lomography. He brought his camera to the set of The Love of Siam.

His favorite quote is "No one is perfect."

     Pitch attended Montfort College, a prestigious school in Chiang Mai. He entered the Thai entertainment business at the age of 17 while he was still in grade 12. He was discovered in his hometown by Chukiat Sakweerakul, writer and director of The Love of Siam. Chukiat is an alumnus of Montfort College and met Pitch because of their common music interests.

     At his 12th grade, Pitch decided that he would major in Communications at University. In one interview, he expressed, "I like to write and tell stories, my friends always tell me they enjoy reading what I write." He was admitted to the Faculty of Communications, Chiang Mai University.

     He declined the offer because he had already started filming The Love of Siam at that time and knew that if he wanted to continue being in the entertainment business, he would have to move to Bangkok. Later, he was admitted to the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communications, Thammasat University, Bangkok. He started his first year of university around mid 2007 and intends to concentrate on film/screen writing. As of 2008, he is a sophomore in the same faculty with a major in film and photography and has since graduated on 2011.

     Pitch has been involved in music since his early years. His first public work was singing the original soundtrack song for the movie "Khao Niew Moo Ping." In The Love of Siam soundtrack, he also contributed several songs. He even composed the music and wrote the lyrics of the song "Roo suek barng mhai" (Do you feel...?). Pitch explained that he found inspiration to write the song after his friend consulted him about a love problem.

     The on-screen August has also become a real band with Pitch as the lead singer. Pitch and August started their group career by singing and playing in The Love of Siam's promotional events. Soon organisers wanted the band to play at music festivals and many other events. The audiences were impressed by the young band member's ability to play instruments and their teenage energy. Pitch is proven to be excellent singing live and a good stage entertainer. The 13-member band (including Pitch) released their first album August*Thanx as a band in February 2008. Their first full album Radiodrome was released in December 2008.

    The Love of Siam was filmed from December 2006 to early 2007. Pitch had to travel back and forth between Chiang Mai and Bangkok for the filming. Between the time the movie was completed and released, Pitch completed his high school and moved to Bangkok to attend Thammasat University and live as an ordinary student. After The Love of Siam was released in late November 2007, Pitch became famous almost instantly, especially among young Thais. Soon his fans started to search for information, followed him to all the events he attended, taking thousands of photos and posted on the internet. Some went as far as following him to his dormitory. Pitch was initially very uncomfortable with the attention. He told a reporter, "I would like to go back and live a normal life."

     Also, he mentioned that he would prefer working behind the scenes in the future.
Fortunately, Pitch seemed to have adjusted to his new life. In one of his interviews, he commented "I appreciate my fans, it's nice to know they are following my work. They had understood me and kept the right distance." Several fanclub websites have been set up and Pitch occasionally writes or replies to his fans on the webboard.

Back Sacrification

If you like extreme body modifications, you will love this picture. It’s a pretty large back scarification that’s so fresh it’s still bleeding and by the looks of it – not finished yet. It must have taken a very long time to carve this much into the back of the brave guy who must have taken quite a bit of time off waiting for his back to heal up for the rest of the scarring to be done.
Unlike with tattoos, when it come to scarification, final results are much less predictable as its look will depend a lot on how the scars form during healing processes. I don’t have a picture of what this art looked like when it healed, but there are some fine lines the artist followed and I can’t imagine those looked that awesome when scars formed up. Pretty bad ass permanent body mod either way, though.

Design Mess-Up Announcement

The reason why I’m making this oddly timed post is that I’m gonna try to mess around a bit with the site’s design tonight so if you stick around, you may notice that it will jump from one silly looking thing to another. I’ve done a lot of work optimizing the database today to make the site more stable and secure. It won’t be affecting speed of the site directly, but should deliver small improvements in that front as well. It was mostly related to not making necessary DB requests when pages could be processed without it. Speed won’t be affected all that much, but server will be taking less of a beating with each click which could indirectly result in faster processing times.
But since I’ve already done all that and feel in the mood to do more, I thought of messing around with the design. However since I’m not a designer and can’t come up with anything eye catching, I’m gonna try downgrading the design to the same look and feel everybody else is using because if they are using it, it must be functional and practical. Simple design should further help with stability and security and should see fewer malfunctions. Afterall, it’s not the website’s design why people read Best Gore, is it? In my mind, if it were, nobody would be here cause design right now kind of sucks.
I promise the site will be as simple and straightforward to use as it is now, but will have slightly improved commenting with (hopefully) functional pagination and threading. Anyway – I’m gonna test a few things out so if you’re around, you may notice that the look of the site will keep changing and switching from one oddly looking thing to another. I’m just gonna try it out and see if anything works. If not, I will revert it all to the same old look we have right now. Hopefully I won’t screw it all up to a point of paralyzing the entire site. Also, hopefully this post will be enough to prevent whose of you who would feel compelled to send me emails asking what was going on with the site from doing so.

 Vacation's Kiss

 

                  School was over! I'm so ready for the vacation. Hehehe....... Its the only thing that I've been waiting for. "I need to tell this to my dad!". That's the first thing that came in to my mind. 

                A week after, I receive a call from my dad. He told me to pack my things because he will fetch me four days after his conference. (He always told me his schedules.Hehehehe).

          The day has come!! I'm now flying to my hometown. I'm on the airplane, thinking so many things. So many questions bothered me. Actually, only one person was running in my mind. It was Jared(it was not his real name). We consider ourselves more than friends but less than lovers. Heheheh I always get confused when I think about it. By the way, Jared was already 19 and I'm just 17. 2 years gap but for the two of us... It doesn't matter. As long as we have each other, we know we can survive. Heheheh Sounds romantic!!. 

          2 hours has passed. We're already on the airport. My heart was pumping so fast. Getting nervous. Then a voice woke me up in my day dreaming. There was Jared, standing on the waiting area waving his hands and smiling at me. My dad and I went to where Jared was standing. He stare at me seriously....  I don't know what to say. Or even what to do. Until my dad broke the silence when he asked us to stay where we are because he was just going to the comfort room.

              While my dad was walking away, something happened again. Same place and same event. For the second time at that airport, Jared's lips touched mine. The kiss was sensually sincere. I feel the passion. Hehehe in short ...... I was carried by his kiss. I can't deny the fact that he was so good. He just stop kissing me when he sense that my dad was already coming. He knew it. My dad was walking towards us. He just hold my hand while smiling at me.

               We drove our way to our house. Me.. I was sitting beside with Jared at the backseat of the car. We were holding hands all the way from the airport to our house. When we get there. I decided to take a shower and change clothes so I can sleep well. Before I sleep, Jared decided to leave and go home. My dad say thanks to Jared for fetching us. I fell asleep so fast.

                I was just woke up through the message tone of my phone. & messages from Jared. He was asking if we can hang out. So I replied. "Ok just meet me up tomorrow at 7am, I will tell that about it." Few minutes later, I recieved a text message from Jared. "I'll be fetching you there at your place, just wait me there. &am sharp."

                    Here we go again. Having sweet moments outside. We go to the mall. Watch movies. Visit the park. We go everywhere we can go. I am always happy when I am with him. I felt that the world stop just only for the two of us. Days pass with the same routine. Until one day. "Ace, (not my real name) I talk to your dad. I asked him if I can sleep with you tonight". I asked him"Why did you do that?". "I just want to be with you in your last night here." I laughed. But I noticed the seriousness in his face. So I talked to him "So what did my dad say?". "He give me the permission". But I asked another question that made him smile. "So do you think that I will agree with your idea?" . He answered "Of course yes.
